Create an engaging online experience for the new generation of Scotsman fans
The Flying Scotsman is an express passenger train that has been running up and down the UK respectively—since 1862. The challenge was to design a responsive website which featured a historic timeline, GPS journey tracker and enable end users to purchase a ticket–via a third party payment channel.

Design a memorable experience across channels
The initial kick-off meeting was aimed to define the goals of the project and get an understanding of the target audience. I was responsible for the creative direction, user experience design and content strategy.
Throughout the project, I was challenged with designing something that will benefit the users but with a creative edge that will appeal to the new generation of Scotsman’s fans.
I set down four main objectives to achieve this:
